Thank you and Happy Holidays!

First off, I just wanted to send special thanks to those of you who sent me Christmas cards. What a nice surprise! Please know that they all brought a smile to my face and the only reason you have not received one in return from me is that I am a lazy grinch and I didn't send out any cards this year. :)

I just wanted to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday. I know I haven't been around much lately, but I think about you guys all the time and I am so grateful to have you in my life.

Much love to you and your families! *group hug*

The best thing about the new office

is the sculpture that my boss' wife put in the bathroom as a joke. *giggle*

My boss isn't too keen on it, but I think it's lovely! It sure makes going to the bathroom more enjoyable. *gigglesnort* And yes, the first thing I did was try and peek under their little loin cloths. They don't move, so you can't see anything. Drats. :D

Hi. *waves*

It's been a crazy few weeks for me, hence why I haven't been around. I feel so out of the loop. I haven't checked blogs in weeks and I've only popped onto RTVW for a few minutes here and there. I have some major catching up to do!

Anyway, last week and this week was dedicated to moving our office. What a PITA. I think I blogged about this awhile ago, but for a refresher, we've moved out to the country into a tiny old house on like 7 acres of land. My boss is planning on building a new office on the land next year, so for now we've moved into this house that was already here. He did a lot of renovation to it to make it nicer. I hear it was pretty gross before. It will take some getting used to, for sure, but it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. One of my main gripes about moving out here was the extra time it was going to take me to drive, but it's really only 5-10 minutes longer, so that is good. I was also worried about there not being any stores or restaurants around, but those are only about 5 minutes away, too. There are even a few things I like better about this place. We did some work to my desk/cubicle and made a larger work area for me and we took down most of the walls so that I wouldn't feel so closed in. And I have a window! Also, since this was a house, we have an actual kitchen. It doesn't have a stove or refrigerator (we have a mini-fridge) but it's nice to have an actual space to prepare lunches and a sink to wash dishes in and stuff. My boss bought us a small table to put in there so that we don't always have to eat at our desks.
So, yeah. It will take some time to get settled in and get everything unpacked and looking normal. There are still a bunch of boxes sitting around and who knows what is in them because my boss didn't label properly when he packed them up. *rolls eyes*

Oh, and the bestest part of this move? was of course the fact that I had thrown out my back right when we needed to start packing things! Yeeehaw! OMG, I was in such pain for like 2 weeks. It started out as just a mild annoying pain and then it got bad, fast. I missed a lot of work, but when I was here, I was packing even though I could barely move. I'm doing better now. I went to the doc and got a bunch o' pills. Anti-inflammatories, muscle relaxers and some Vicodin. It still hurts a little, but not so much that I can't function.

Anyway, that's about all that has been going on with me. I'm off to catch up with you guys now! It might take me a few days, but I will be visiting your blogs. *smooches*

Just what I needed... another addiction

I know you're all waiting with baited breath (is that the right expression? It looks weird) to hear how I'm loving my DVR. :)

Let me just say this... my addictions to fast food and alcohol now have company. *grin*

I've had the thing for less than a week and I've already used up 22% of my recording space. I went a little crazy at first, obviously. Who knew that The Soup was on like 100 times a week? Heh. I have a couple movies recorded that I haven't had time to watch yet. I just don't have time for all this tv! In addition to all my DVRings, I've also been renting a lot of television shows from Netflix. This weekend I will be watching some Flight of the Conchords and some Dexter, as well as trying to watch all the shows from the week that I recorded.

Not that I'm complaining. I luuuuuuuuuuurve tv, so having too much is better than having nothing. :)

The only thing I am a little disappointed in is the fact that I can only record 2 shows at once. Some nights (Mondays, especially) I have 3 or 4 (or 5, now that they've moved Intervention to Monday nights. Grrrr.) things on at the same time that I want to see. I just either have to tape them on the VCR in my bedroom or watch them online.

Other than that, I'm very pleased. I look forward to going home and watching a new recording every night. It's the highlight of my day, sadly. I think I'm a bit too anal though, because I don't like having 22% of my space used up. I want to delete it all and start fresh. It bothers me to have things using up my space. But on the other hand, I don't want to delete something that I might want to watch again in a few weeks. Yes, I am too anal. Heh.

Oh! And. Since I had to upgrade my cable in order to get the DVR, I now have the Fox Reality Channel! I haven't watched anything on it yet, but I hear that they're supposed to be starting up a new season of Paradise Hotel. A whole channel dedicated to reality tv. It doesn't get much better than that. *grin*

*squeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!*

I'm getting a DVR!!
OMG, I've wanted one for so long and I always thought it would be way too expensive because I would have to upgrade my cable service, in addition to the DVR service and equipment. My mom has sattelite and she hates it, so she just called and got this awesome deal with everything included for like $80. I couldn't stand it anymore. Now both my mom and my sister are going to have DVR and they barely even watch TV?? No way, not fair. So I finally called to see how much it would be. Only $10 more than what I pay now! I was sure that couldn't be right. I kept asking the girl "So, there's no other fees, or equipment charges or anything?" "No installation fee?" "No fee for the cable box?" "Are you sure?" She claims that there isn't anything else. That everything is included in the $10. I'm still suspicious. Heh.

But for right now? *giddy* I'm getting a DVR next Thursday! Wheeeeeeeeeeee!

*throws videotapes out the window* Oops. I shouldn't have done that. I still have a bunch of shows taped that I haven't seen yet. *giggle*

Monopoly!

Judging from Bob's "What's in your wallet" thread, it seems several of us are collecting the Monopoly game pieces from McDonalds. So, whatcha got? Maybe we can pool our resources to win something and then split the prizes. I thought I had won $500 today, but I had duplicate pieces when I thought I had all 3. Bummer!

I have:

Light blue- Connecticut, Oriental (I thought I had Vermont, but it was another Ct.)
Purple- St. Charles
Orange- St. James
Red- Illinois, Indiana
Yellow- Marvin Gardens
Green- North Carolina, Pacific
Railroads- B&O, Pennsylvania, Reading

Picture time!

Here are some pics from Tate's birthday bowling party.

My BIL's brother makes amazing cakes. Tate was in love with this one. :)

Make a wish!

Aidan was having fun at first...

And then by the end of the day he was so over it. *giggle*

*hack hack*

I am getting sick. I have just about coughed up a lung today. My throat is so sore and scratchy, if I take a deep breath it sends me into a coughing fit. And I can feel my nose preparing to be stuffed. I haven't had a cold in such a long time. I guess my streak is over.

I want to go home and lie down. *sniffle*

If anyone wants to see new pics of Tate and Aidan... buy me a digital camera. :)
Actually, I will try and get my sister to send me some pics from Tate's 5th Birthday party that we had this past Sunday. Hopefully I can post some soon.

Hope everyone is doing well! I don't post comments much these days, but I am still reading. *air smooches*

Birthday weekend

First of all, thank you all for the birthday wishes. Love you guys. *smooches*

My birthday weekend was very good. I got all my freaking out of my system in the weeks beforehand, so I was able to enjoy myself. Plus, I had a lot going on, so that helped keep my mind off things.

Friday night I went to the Indians game with my mom, BIL (his birthday was the day before mine) and Tate. I had several beers and was feeling no pain. :) They had fireworks after the game which always makes me happy. Love the fireworks. And we won, so yay for that.

Saturday I was supposed to run some errands, but I was not feeling so hot (see comment about beers) so I just hung out at home for a little while, before getting ready to go to dinner with the family. We went to the Olive Garden and had a nice meal. I filled up on salad and breadsticks (with alfredo dipping sauce *waves to Boo*) so I didn't eat much of my actual dinner (five cheese ziti). Afterwards, everyone came back to my house and we had some birthday cake. Then everyone else left to go to another Indians game, while I prepared to pack for my trip the next day and called it an early night because...

Sunday morning, bright and early at 6:30am, I awoke. Ugh. I don't even get up that early to go to work. I had to be at Tracy's house at 8 to pick her up for our journey to X-Fest in Dayton. We arrived at the concert a little before noon and we did some pre-concert tailgating. Tracy had made jello shots and I had brought some beer. I was cracking up laughing because the shots were so big that we were eating them with a spoon and to anyone walking by, it would've looked like we were just hanging out in the parking lot, eating jello. *snort* By the time we finished up and walked to the venue, we had missed the first band, but that was ok. The rest of the concert was good, but it went way too quickly. They had 2 stages and had it planned out so that when one band finished, another band was just starting up on the second stage. There was no time in between to just hang around and wait, which was nice, but it also made time just fly by. Before I knew it, 7 hours had passed and it was time to take my sunburn and leave. My mom had paid for a hotel room for us so we wouldn't have to drive back that night. We checked in there, went potty (damn porta potties at the concert. I held it as long as I could, but ended up having to go once. Ick.) and then we headed back out to grab some dinner. We were both starving since we hadn't eaten anything at the concert. Well, Tracy gorged herself on Starburst and Tootsie Pops, but that doesn't really count. :) We went to TGI Fridays and stuffed ourselves full of appetizers, and once again, I barely had any room for my entree. Heh. We got dessert to go and headed back to the hotel room to take showers, watch HGTV and chill out.

Monday morning, we drove back home.
The End. :)

27/10

My birthday is on Sunday. I’ll be 27 and I’m dreading it. Which is funny to me, because I’ve never really cared about age and I thought my sister was being silly when she was so down about her 30th. But, it’s not about the age. It’s not about the number 27. I know that 27 is still relatively young. It’s about where I am in my life, at 27. I’m still broke and alone and fat and unhappy. Seems like things never change. Every birthday and every New Year’s Eve, I tell myself that this year will be different. This year I will change, things will change. They never do. And it’s just hitting me hard this year.

Also, tomorrow is the 10th anniversary of my dad’s death. I don’t even know what to say about that. *sigh*

Why must it all come at once? (a whine)

Generally, I don't have a whole lot to do at work. I'm free to read blogs and message boards and live feed updates for Big Brother (I almost bought the live feeds last night. They have a special deal-- only $8 for the rest of the season! But I was able to restrain myself.)
Anyway, what was I talking about? Oh yeah, work. So, I'm kind of used to having nothing to do. And then... it all comes and piles on me at once. Currently I have to put together 14 binders. *sigh* That entails ordering more literature, printing out price sheets and other crap, ordering more generic binders, more custom index tabs, more custom binders, making up covers and spines for them, etc. And then I have to assemble them all. Did I mention this is the part of my job I hate the most? I usually put it off as long as possible, but these are for a new employee so I guess I'd better get them done soon. I don't really know why I hate doing the binders so much. Every time I put some together, I think "Oh, that wasn't so bad." but then sure enough, when the time comes to do more I always dread them.

I also have to order some supplies for the office, and none of them are fun. *pout*

And, to add on to my work whine; we are probably going to be moving. My boss has put the building up for sale and he has put in a bid on some property out in the bumfuck country (*shudder*) where he plans on building new offices. I am NOT a country girl. I need stuff. Stores and restaurants and just STUFF. Not to mention that this new location will pretty much DOUBLE my drive time.

*sigh* I hate my work right now.

Tune in to Oh.My.Blog next week, when I will be whining about my birthday. Hmm. Maybe I should rename it Oh.My.Whine.

Hi

I haven't had much to say lately. Just been feeling shitty, physically and mentally drained and exhausted.

I'm going to Glow's this weekend (yay) for a party. I think we're having tea and crumpets. Not sure what else might go on. *grin*

I got lunch at Quizno's today and I was standing in line behind this absolutely gorgeous cop. *swooooooon*

I have this odd blood blister/pimple/don't know what the fuck it is thing under my left arm. It really hurts.

I will be going to the concert that I posted about down there. As of now, I'm going with Tracy, but if Glow can convince her bitchboss to give her the day off, she will be going with us. *crosses fingers*

We're going to the lake for Labor Day. Looking forward to that. I'll be doing lots of travelling over the next few weeks.

It rained a ton on Monday, but it was nice and cool. I like weather like that. Today and tomorrow will be near 90 and humid as a muthafucka. I don't like weather like that. Come on, Fall!!

I got my hair cut last night. I have no feelings about it, good or bad. Same old haircut I always get, but without layers this time. I like that it takes me less time to blow dry in the morning.

I guess that's all. Peace out!

Concert fever

I'm going to a 311 concert tomorrow night. This will be the 9th time I've seen them. :) Yesterday Glow and I got to talking about all the different concerts we've been to and how we can't remember all of them. I've saved most of my ticket stubs, but I know there are quite a few missing. I'm thinking that I've been to about 40 concerts. I'm in the process of making a list. :)

Wahhhhhh! As if I wasn't already concert obssessed enough, I just got an email alert for a ticket presale to X-Fest.

X-Fest XII featuring Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Chevelle, Sum 41, Flyleaf, Finger Eleven, Seether, Fair to Midland, and Evans Blue.

Oh, hey! Don't you love most of those bands, Jen? Why yes, yes I do. All except Sum 41. And hey, look at this- the concert is on your freaking birthday! And tickets are only $20 until tomorrow! But what's this? Oh, it's not in Cleveland... it's in Dayton. Boooooooooooooo! *cries*

Dayton is only a 3 hour drive, but I doubt I could get anyone to go with me. Unless... *looks longingly at Glow*

Cleaning Machine!

So far this weekend I have:

-done 2 loads of laundry (damn machine ate $1.50 worth of quarters. grrrr.)
-washed all my pots and pans
-run and unloaded the dishwasher
-dusted living room and bedroom
-vacuumed living room and bedroom
-windexed all mirrors and picture frames
-cleaned and swept bathroom
-changed sheets
-trimmed and painted fingernails (clear)
-painted toenails (dark silver)
-sorted mail

Everything is nice and clean. Whew! Now I'm relaxing with a SoCo and coke and waiting for a pizza to be delivered.

Still on my list of things to do:

-get a haircut (which I tried to do last night, but the wait was 50 minutes! No thank you!)
-get an oil change
-clean car (vacuum and wipe down dashboard)
-make an appt with the chiropractor
-clean out and switch purses
-sweep kitchen floor
-clean out junk cabinet

I'm pleased that I got all of my major cleaning done though. That was my big goal for this weekend. Yay!

What's that? You want a new Aidan pic? Ok! *grin*

I wish I had a pic of Tate to share. He just got a drastic haircut and he looks soooo different! I love it, even though it makes him look so much older.

What are you up to this weekend?

Email Karma, and other stuff

I don’t necessarily believe in karma, but I had a brush with it today. Last night I sent a couple emails to people that I don’t talk to as much as I’d like. I was just feeling like I wanted to reach out to them and let them know that I was thinking about them. Then this morning I got an email and a PM from two different people who I don’t talk to as much as I’d like. It was a nice surprise to hear from them. Funny how that works sometimes. :)
I would have emailed more of you last night, but I needed to pass out because it was getting late. I think of you all too! *group smooch*

I need to get to a chiropractor. I’m just too lazy to make an appointment and I don’t really even know who to call. I guess I should call my doctor’s office and see if they have someone to recommend. It kind of worries me that someone will be messing with my bones, but my neck is not getting any better. In fact, after sleeping on my couch for several nights (only get a/c in my living room) my neck is much, much worse. It hurts all the time and I have a constant headache. *sigh* Have any of you ever been to a chiropractor? Does it hurt?

I’ve been taking on more responsibility at work lately, so I’ve been a bit busier. It’s good in that it makes the day go faster sometimes, but I also miss being able to play as much as I used to. I’m supposed to be getting a raise though. I don’t know when or if that will actually happen. I feel kind of guilty, because I don’t feel I deserve what I make now, but I’m sure not going to turn it down! I’m barely scraping by every month right now, and I really, really want to be able to find a new place to live next year. I’m sick of my apartment. I always say I’m going to start saving money, but it never actually happens. It’s hard to save when you’ve got nothing to start with. *sigh*

ETA: Blog and you shall recieve. My raise of $1/hour has been instituted. Yay! Hopefully I can get out of the hole over the next couple months, and then open up a savings account and have some of my paycheck put directly in there.

To end on a happier note, I’m going to my sister’s to visit with them tonight. They got home from the hospital last Friday. I hope Aidan is awake for a change! Heh.
I need a nickname for him. I always call Tate my sweet pea. I need something to call Aidan. Hmmm.

In other news, I am soooooooo not cut out to be a parent. 3 days of watching Tate and running back and forth to the hospital and I.am.exhausted. zzzzzzzzzzzzz (But it was worth it.)

More later...

Guess I should update, huh?

I've been on sort of a mini-break for a couple weeks now. Just feeling very disconnected from everyone and everything and haven't felt like participating on blogs much. I'm still reading every once in a while, but I don't always comment. I've been spending a lot of time on the SYTYCD forum, and I've also been lurking at another board because they have a lot more info than RTVW. I feel like I'm missing a lot, but it's also been nice to have a little break.

Anyway, it looks like I will have a new nephew in just 5 days! My sister is scheduled to have a c-section on Tuesday morning. The baby is breech right now and it's unlikely that he will flip around since he's so big, so they are going to go ahead and do the c. Amy is very upset about it, but I'm sure she'll be fine. I'll be going over to their house on Monday night and sleeping over so that I can watch Tate when they go to the hospital, and then I'll take him to visit his new baby brother later on in the day. :) Hmm. I guess I need to pack a bag. I might be staying over until Wednesday, too.
I can't wait to meet the lil' guy. This will be the last baby this family sees, most likely. My sister doesn't want to have another because she has such troubles with pregnancy, and it's highly unlikely that I will ever have one. So we need to cherish this time. *sigh*

I have other stuff I could write about, but it's all boring so I won't bother.

TTFN!

Friday, June 15, 2007

Well, this sucks.

I don't know if any of you remember last January when I was in the hospital for a week because of an infection I had in my intestines, but I had another flare-up on Wednesday night. It started out as a stomach ache, then it moved to stabbing pains in my abdomen, and at about 2am I woke up with chills that were causing me to shake uncontrollably. I was so scared. I've never felt anything like that before. My teeth were chattering so much that my jaw still hurts today. I called my mom and woke her up to come over because I didn't know what to do. All I knew was that I didn't want to go back to the hospital. By the time she got here, the shaking had pretty much stopped. It lasted about 30 minutes, but it felt like 10 hours. Every minute was agony. My abdominal pains were pretty much constant, but then I'd get a severe stabbing pain every once in a while. I didn't sleep at all that night. I was in too much pain. Thursday, I could barely move. I had body aches all over (especially in my neck, which I already have problems with) and a headache, fever, no sleep. I was just exhausted. But I knew I needed to get to a doctor because this wasn't going to get better on it's own. So, we went to an Urgicare and waited for about 90 minutes before we saw the doctor. That also felt like an eternity. I was extremely worried that he would tell me I needed to go to the hospital, but thank goodness he just prescribed me 2 antibiotics and a painkiller (yay Vicodin!) and sent me on my way. Actually, the Vicodin hasn't done much to help me so far. It helped a little with my body aches, but then I get another fever/chill attack and they all come back. My abdominal pain is a little better, as long as I don't walk, stand or move. Heh. So, I'll be spending the majority of the next couple days on the couch. I'm on a liquid diet for the rest of the day. My mom went way overboard at the store. There's enough juice, popsicles, Italian ice and Jell-o here to last me all next week. LOL.

Anyone want a popsicle? :)

I've used "Randomness" as a title too many times

-- I'm anxious to hear how things go today at my sister's doctor's appointment. It won't be too much longer until my new nephew is here. Right now, he is breech (breach?) and Amy is freaking out about having to possibly have a c-section. But if he can get turned around, the dr. will probably take her off of bed rest and things will happen soon after.

They still don't have a name picked out. It feels kind of weird, even to me. Tate was named very early on in her pregnancy with him, and it just felt like we already knew him. This new baby feels like a stranger. Plus, it's just not as exciting with a second born, and I feel bad about that. I haven't even bought anything for him yet! Bad Aunt Jen. *hangs head*

-- It's no secret that I am a lazy fat ass. I do not exercise. I sit behind a desk all day and I sit on my couch all night. I live on the 5th floor in my apartment building and I only take the stairs when the elevator is broken and I absolutely must. I dread the stairs. I usually have to stop and catch my breath at least twice, and once I make it almost to the top I feel like I might not be able to make it those last few steps.
Last night, these assholes were using both of the elevators to move in, so no one else was able to use them. I was so pissed off (not only because I had to take the stairs, but because it was sofa king rude.) With fear in my heart, I started up the stairs.
*huff* *puff* *gasp* Ok, here I am at the 3rd floor, and I don't feel too bad yet. This is usually where I start to feel weak in the legs. But wait! I'm not on the 3rd floor- the door says 4! How did I miss that? I'm only one floor away and I haven't stopped at all... and I don't need to. Woohoo! I just climbed up the stairs without feeling like I was going to die. Sure, I was still panting like a dog on a hot day, and I thought my heart might pound out of my chest, but I did it. I wonder if it was just because of my adrenaline and being pissed at the guys. Oh well. I'll take it. It's a small accomplishment, but an accomplishment nonetheless. Maybe I'll start taking the stairs a couple times a week... or maybe not. *snort*

-- I'm soooooo excited for the first performance show of So You Think You Can Dance tomorrow night. I freaking love this show. If any of you don't watch, I highly recommend it. And if you do watch, please come and play on the SYTYCD forum. Those two newbies who seem to annoy everyone (*coughjbugagmancough*) have found their way over there, and I could really use some more people that I enjoy. I don't want the show and discussions to be ruined because of them. *sigh* So come and play with me!! And there's bonus eye candy for watching!

My early fav, Kameron.

Quite possibly could edge Kameron out, Neil.

All the gay boys on the forum are swooning over Pasha. And a lot of the girls, too. :)

For the menfolk and lesbians. Lauren, Ashlee and my girl crush, Jessi (though this pic of her is a little scary.)

-- It's taken me all damn morning to write this post. Stoopit wurk.

Happy Birthday, Nutzzzzzzzzzzzz!

I know her birthday is tomorrow but I felt like a birthday post today. To celebrate, I am going go home and see how much boxed wine I can drink before I barf. See how terribly nice I am. And I won't go to bed until super duper late because I still want to be drinking at midnight so I can celebrate properly.

Happy Birthday, Nutzy!

Random MeMe

Carey tagged me for the randomness, so here are 8 random facts about the concert I went to last night. :)

1. I was pissed because Breaking Benjamin had been billed as the headliner in everthing I'd seen about this concert, but they ended up playing second to last. *pout*

2. Ben, the lead singer of BB is really hot. I wish we could've gotten closer to the stage, but it was too crowded up there.

3. Glow's boyfriend Adammm (lead singer of Three Days Grace, the actual headliner. hrmph.) looked pretty gross. He had long stringy hair and was wearing some funky hat. At one point I was watching the tv screens they have by the side of the stage and I said "Whoa! When did Adammm get so hot? Who knew taking off a hat and jacket could do that!?" ... And then I realized that it wasn't Adammm at all. Ben had come back out to sing one of their songs with them. LMAO. Yay for more Ben!

4. BB didn't play the one song I wanted to hear most, but they played my second favorite. 3DG played the one I wanted to hear. Yay for that.

5. Both bands did covers, and I didn't really care for them. BB covered "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails. 3DG covered "Another Day in Paradise" by Phil Collins. They were both good, but I'd rather hear the bands own music instead of covers.

6. It's insane how expensive drinks are at concerts. $7 fucking dollars for a bottle of beer. $8 for a vodka lemonade. Assholes.

7. I love going to concerts not only for the music, but because there are always plenty of hot guys around. *grin*

8. It took us 40 minutes to get from the parking lot to the highway after the show. Traffic sucks.

I tag... YOU!

Randomness

I hope everyone had a nice weekend! Mine was pretty good. I did some cleaning, went out and bought a new mattress (my neck pain has been out of control. owie.) and yesterday we all went to my mom's BF's house for a cookout and swimming in his indoor pool. I was exhausted at the end of the day. Swimming sure is a workout!

I'm going to a concert on Thursday and I'm very excited. I wasn't sure if I'd be going because Tracy didn't know if she'd be able to make it and I really didn't want to go by myself. It's one of my favorite bands, Breaking Benjamin, and Three Days Grace are also playing. Soooo excited. I just hope it's not too hot. There's nothing worse than being at a crowded concert surrounded by a bunch of sweaty bodies. *gag*

I'm wearing my favorite scented lotion today, Bath&Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint, and I can't stop sniffing my arm. :)

I'm really hungry. I brought a Lean Cuisine Macaroni and Barf Beef for lunch and it sounds totally disgusting. *sigh*

Hilarious Reviews, Loser Bingo and Devil Pics

I mentioned this over on OT, but for anyone that didn't see it, I have a new favorite website. The Impulsive Buy is a website (blog, actually) that reviews new and interesting products. What makes this blog so special is that the guy who writes it is absolutely hilarious. I mean, I seriously could not stop myself from LOL'ing at work today. What makes this even more funny is that I found his blog because I was searching for info on the Veet Rasera Hair Removal System. This guy actually tested it out, removing the hair from one entire leg! LMAO. I love him.
For a taste test of his humor, I submit to you the line that almost made me spit my Smirnoff Ice Wild Grape all over my laptop. And I'm not talking the fake liquid spit that is often bandied about on the internet. I honestly had to turn my head to keep from doing a spit take on my laptop.
The first line of his review for Nesquik Cookies 'n Milk Milkshake:
Just like Bert and Ernie, cookies and milk are two things that are synonymous with the action of dipping one into the other.

Seriously. I love this guy. :)

Edit-- I wrote this post immediately after reading that line without even bothering to read the rest of his review. Now that I've read the whole thing, I must encourage you to read it. I laughed heartily several times. Did I mention I love this guy?
Click me if you want to laugh!
(Bonus Star Jones mention just for Carey!)

In other "Yeah, I'm a dork, what of it?" news, I was sucked not only into watching National Bingo Night, but actually participating, too. Here I sat, intently watching for the numbers to be called so I could check off each of my 6 bingo cards. I didn't win jack shit. Not even one of the "thousands of $5 KMart gift cards." Pffft. I have really bad luck. But at least the guy who hosts the show was hot, so it wasn't a complete waste of time.

And finally, I present a couple of Tate pics, since MM has asked about him recently. Oh yeah, and I'm in them, too. Just ignore the fact that my eyes make me look possessed. It's the curse of having abnormally large pupils. I always have red eye.

This is Tate's smile when you tell him to smile for a pic. No, he's not constipated. He just tries way too hard.

This is Tate's smile when Aunt Jen tickles him right before the pic is taken. Absolutely perfect. :)

PS- These pics are from Christmas. That punch in the background? was so absolutely delicious. Probably the best thing I've ever made. Who knew sherbert, pineapple juice and ginger ale was beverage of the gods? *grin*

A Glowie Survey

1. If you went to dinner with Jesus who would pick up the check?

2. If you had to eliminate one state from the United States, which one would it be?
I'll take out the smallest state, Rhode Island.

3. If Spiderman and Superman were forced to fight to the death, who would win? Why?

5. Mohinder, Nathan or Peter?

Drunken Blog Game

Just got off the phone with Carey and Kim. Holy margaritas. And it's only 2:30 there. LMAO!

So, Glow wants to know if my underwear and bra match.
Ummm, I'm not wearing a bra right now, so I guess I'd have to say no. My underwear are purple, just in case you were wondering.

Meet pics

Here we have me, Sanjana and Boo sitting outside the Olive Garden. We convinced a boy to take our picture. I'm quite sure he thought we were crazy. And he actually used the phrase "You're not from around here, are you?" LOL.

Wow, Boo's sunglasses sure are shiny! pay no attention to the fact that you can see my bra strap.

And finally we have the boy who took our pic. Boo liked his belt buckle (it says "Area Closed" lol) so she wanted to take a pic of it, but he didn't want his face shown. Sanjana to the rescue! :)

That's all the pics I have. We really didn't have time to do anything fun with Sanjana. He was only inflated for about 5 minutes. Poor little thing.

*snifflepout*

Ok, that peep meet was waaaaaaay too short. :( I miss Booboo already. 2 hours is just not enough time to have a proper meet. But, hey, it was better than not meeting her at all and we had an excellent time, however brief. Or at least I did. We'll have to wait and see what Boo thought. :)

I suppose you want details, eh?

Well, I left work at 3:30 and stopped to get cash and gas and then I headed out to the airport. I had been tracking her flight all day so I knew she was due to land at about 3:55. I figured she'd need 10 minutes or so to get through the airport and outside, but I was still worried about being late. So, of course I rushed to get there and I ended up being early. Heh. I had to circle around the airport a couple times because I got yelled at for stopping too long at the curb. *rolls eyes at security dude* Finally on my 3rd attempt, there she was! Yay! She hopped in the car and we immediately started chatting like old friends. There was no awkwardness or silences, I felt comfortable with her right away.

We drove to the Olive Garden where we had a very nice dinner. Salad and breadsticks, of course. Boo ordered an Alfredo dipping sauce for the breadsticks which was uber delicious. For dinner she got the lasagna and I had 5-cheese ziti. Yummers. Oh, I also had a glass of sangria and she got a big ole tumbler of boorbun. (heh. just kidding.)

Dinner flew by, we talked about work and blogs and you. Yes, *points* YOU. And then before we knew it, it was time to head back to the airport. *pout* But first we went out to my car and blew up Sanjana so we could sign hir and take some pics. (Pics will be posted tomorrow. I have to do it from work because I don't have the software on this computer.)

I dropped her off at the airport and we gave each other about 6 hugs. LOL. First a hug for us, then one hug each from MM, then one hug each from everyone else, and then another hug for us. :) And then I came home, sad but happy.

Boo is a total sweetheart and I loved meeting her. I almost kidnapped her so she wouldn't leave, but she said her husband and child might not like that too much. *rolls eyes* Whatevah! *grin*

(*hopes Boo approves of the length of this post* *giggle*)

Melange

Thanks to thesaurus.com for the post title. What a cool sounding word. It's supposed to have the little accent mark above the first e, but I don't know how to do that. Anyway, it means mixture, potpourri, hodgepodge, etc. Maybe everyone else already knew that, but I'm getting stupider in my old age.

--Whatever happened to instant win bottle caps? Everything nowadays comes with some stupid little code that you have to go to a website and register to enter to even see if you won anything! It's ridiculous. I wonder if people actually take the time to do that. If not, the chances of winning might be better. Hmmm...

--My sister and BIL are having some trouble deciding on a name for the baby. It's going to be a boy, and the front running name right now is Aidan. Well, actually my sister said she would spell it Aiden, but that looks weird to me. My mom said she thought it was spelled Aden, which is just all kinds of wrong.

Amy also likes Conner for a name, and so do I (waves to Boo) but my BIL doesn't like it. Actually, at this point, he's pretty much closed off to any other names. No matter what we say, he will say he doesn't like it. He's stubborn and immature that way. *rolls eyes*

So anyway, you guys have any suggestions? I told her I would poll you all, and maybe you'd come up with a name they hadn't thought of. She doesn't want a "normal/boring" name like John or Jim (no offense to anyone who has named their child that, to each their own) and she doesn't want anything that starts with a T because she doesn't want matchy names like Tate and Tyler. They are considering Tyler for a middle name though. Oh, and their last name is two syllables, starts with H and ends with ing. Ideas?

--My mom and I went to Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, and Pier 1 last night. At Pier 1 they had these reed diffusers.

OMG, each scent was better than the last. They smelled soooo good. They had them spread out all over the store and I kept discovering new scents every time I turned a corner. They were $12 and I didn't want to spend that much money, but my mom said she would buy me one. I didn't put up a fight. :) I got the Mad Love. "a memorable affair of black and red raspberry fragrances with essences of peach, strawberry, coconut, lime zest, vanilla bean, and creamy cassis." Yum.my. They also had 2 scents that are a standard favorite of mine. They were named Aqua and Downpour. I think you can imagine what they smelled like. I always say anything with the word ocean, water, or rain in it will most likely be something I would love. They didn't have any in lavender though, which is my absolute fav scent.

On the way to the checkout we came across this wine rack thingy that had an Asian flair to it. (Darn it. Couldn't find a pic.) A piece of it had broken off, so they were selling it for $4, originally $30. A deal too good to pass up, no? My living room has a lot of Asian touches and I thought this would look cool somewhere. I probably won't use it for a wine rack. It doesn't hold boxes of wine, so it's useless to me for that. *grin* I just have to glue the piece back together and then find somewhere to put it. Ugh. I said I wasn't going to buy any more useless junk to take up room on my tables. Guess I lied. But I'm planning on hanging a lot of the picture frames I have sitting around, so that will free up some table space.

-- I was supposed to go to the grocery store after work, but I was wiped out. So instead I came home, fixed myself a cocktail, and I will be playing on the computer and watching movies for the rest of the night. Soooooo much better than going to the grocery. And I have something to make for dinner (pork chops and mashed potatoes) so it wasn't absolutely necessary that I went tonight anyway. /rationalization.

--I tried to use bullet points for this blog entry, but they were messing up my formatting. So you get two dashes instead.

--Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Since Arkie asked...

My sister is having some troubles with her pregnancy (again) and has just been ordered to be on bed rest for the remainder of the time, about 3 months. This is going to be tough on everyone. When she was on bed rest with her first pregnancy it wasn't such a big deal, but now that she has Tate, it is going to be rough. We're all going to have to pitch in, take time off work (which I really can't afford to do) or use vacation days (which I really don't want to do because I have so few.) Add that to my problems that I've been having, and I just feel overwhelmed. More overwhelmed than I did already. And then I feel like a selfish, horrible person for having these thoughts about dreading helping out and not wanting to give up my time. Bah. Whatever. I'll do what I can, and that's all I can do.

On a more positive note, I'm going to meet Boo next week! *big grin* She has a 3 hour layover in Cleveland for her trip, so I'm going to pick her up at the airport and we're going to go to Olive Garden for dinner. Mmmmm, breadsticks.
This peep meet will be a bit of a new experience for me because almost all of my other meets have involved a group of people. Asrai is the only person that I've ever met one-on-one. Hopefully Boo is chatty like Asrai. I'm usually more of a listener than I am a talker. Unless I'm drunk. *makes note to drink at work before I leave for the airport* *grin*

The things I do for beauty

I just had a placenta on my head.

*waits for everyone to go and vomit*

More precisely, I had animal placenta extract on my head. I just used this deep conditioning treatment, creatively named Henna 'n Placenta. Seriously. Now, if I were a marketing pro, I'd try my hardest to keep the word placenta out of my product name, but that's just me.

Anyway. My hair is really soft now. Anyone wanna touch it? *gigglesnort*

Any coupon WORKS!

Kim posted about the spongmonkeys over in her blog, and it seems a few of you don't know what they are. So I submit for your enjoyment, one of their Quiznos commercials.

Yes, they are scary. Yes, they make you say "WTF is that thing?!" Yes, they are hilarious.

I've been reading your blogs, but haven't been posting much. I'm very grumpy lately, and didn't want to take it out on anyone else. So I've just been keeping to myself for the most part.

I have tomorrow off work. Yay! I have to go to the grocery store for a quick trip. I need to buy eggs for the deviled eggs I'm supposed to make for Easter. How do you make deviled eggs? I've made them a couple times, but they never taste as good as my mom's. Maybe I need a new recipe.

I have a crush on a guy who works at a convenience store by my house. I keep going in there to buy bottles of water or a 2 liter or beer. I spent my last dollar there the other day and he wasn't even the one who rang me up. I was pissed. LOL. His name is Ben and he kind of looks like a jack-o-lantern. *snort*
It's fun to have a crush. It gives me something to look forward to, every morning when I drive to work and when I come home I look to see if his car is there. It's silly, but it makes me smile, if only for a minute.

I need a new hairstyle. My hair is getting way too long. I'll probably just go and get a few inches taken off. I don't think I'm even going to get layers like I always do. Boooo-ring. I don't know what else to do though.

On Tuesday I wore a t-shirt and capris. It was 80 degrees. Today we had about 4 inches of snow. It's in the 20's. *sigh*

I had another weird dream the other night. This one starred Zombie and involved her flinging bits of dead jellyfish at me. I'm not even going to try to explain. *snort*

I think that's all I got for now. I hope you all have a Happy Easter! *smooches*

Dinner at Carey's

I don't have much to say lately, so I thought I would tell you all about my dream last night.

I was over at Carey's house (except it wasn't actually her house- it was my Aunt Chris's) and one of her friends came over. The friend was a very tall, blonde drag queen. Heh. Carey had made lasagna, so we all took up a plate and went into the living room to eat. The drag queen didn't like me very much. She kept giving me nasty looks. Carey said that she was Viennese and I didn't know what that meant. The queen scoffed at me and said "I'm from Vienna" and rolled her eyes. I think it's funny that in the dream I didn't know what that meant, but obviously I do because my subconcious was able to come up with the right answer.
So then this little baby/toddler came wandering out of somewhere and went up to the queen and smashed her hand in her food. Except it wasn't lasagna anymore, it was a big plate of whipped cream. Carey and the Queen of Vienna were laughing at this little girl, while I was just concerned that she was getting whipped cream all over the carpet. Then a dog appeared and started licking the little girls hand and she was toddling around trying to get away from it.
So then some more people magically appeared on the floor. I'm guessing they were Carey's parents, but we were never introduced. The little girl went and got more Cool Whip on her hands and the people on the floor started licking it off her hands. I was really grossed out, but everyone else seemed to think it was hilarious.

Then I woke up.

The End.

"My belly button needs carrot cake."

Ok, here's my cute Tate story. :)

Tate asked my sister one day how the baby eats. So she explained to him that the nutrients from the food she eats travels through the umbilical cord which connects to the baby's belly button.
So when he was over my house Friday night and wanted more lasagna, he said "Jen, my belly button is very hungry." LOL. We were all laughing and saying how cute that was, so of course that only encouraged him to keep going with it. :) After his 3rd helping, he switched to the dessert. "Aunt Jen, my belly button wants a treat. It's very hungry and it needs carrot cake."

Heee. Isn't that cute? Oh, and to make it cuter, picture a 4 year old saying it, and he pronounces button "butting". *giggle*

Dinner Party

I'm cooking dinner tonight for my uncle, mom, sister and Tate. I'm kind of excited. No one ever comes over my house. It will be a little cramped, seeing as how I live in a small one bedroom apartment and I have no dining room table, so 5 people will have to sit around my coffee table. Heh. My sister is going to bring a couple tv trays though, so maybe it will be ok.

I'm cooking the only thing that I feel confident making -- lasagna. I also have salad, garlic bread and some carrot cake for dessert. And to make it extra fancy I bought a box of wine. *grin*

Updating for the sake of updating

It's been 2 weeks since I updated? Wow. Doesn't feel like that long. I really have nothing to update about, but feel like I should since it's been 2 weeks.

I went to Glow's this past weekend and had a great time hanging out with her. I haven't laughed that much in a long time. :) She pretty much covered what we did over on her blog.

Uhhh...

It's that time of year in Ohio where the weather is absolutely crazy. 70 degrees and sunny one day, 20 degrees and snowing the next. I think it's supposed to be in the 30's today, but sunny, and we are going to be a little warmer for the rest of the week, but with rain.

I need to go to the grocery store, but I don't want to.

Ummm...

Yeah. I have nothing to say. This post wasn't worth the time it took me to write it. I should've looked for a meme or something. LOL

Speaking of CDs...

There are so many new ones that I want! Well, not *new* necessarily, but new to me. It seems like every day I think of another one to add to my Amazon Wish List. But I shouldn't be spending money on CDs, and my birthday isn't until September, so I guess I'm SOL. *pout*

I went to a used record store on my way home, thinking maybe I could find some of the older ones I want for cheap. Ha! What a freaking joke that store is. The cheapest I found was $9, and everything else was pretty much retail price. I can get brand new ones on Amazon for much less. I don't know how that store stays in business!

Maybe I'll treat myself to one of the cheapest ones on Amazon. Or two. *grin*

What have I done??

I don't know what possessed me to think it was a good idea to re-arrange my cd case. My bed is now covered in cds, and I don't know how to start putting them back. The perfectionist in me wants to alphabetize. But then whenever I get a new cd, I would have to move them all around to make room in the proper place. I could go back to my old system of putting them in a general order of how much I listen to them. New cds up front, old ones in back. But that just doesn't seem organized enough. Maybe I could break them up into older and newer, and then alphabetize those sections separately. Ahhhh! Why did I start this?

Do you have a cd case? How do you organize it? Or do you just throw cds in there willy-nilly? <--- *shudders at the thought*

I don't have as many cds as I thought I did. When they're all spread out on my bed it looks like a million of them. But my cd case only holds 200 cds and I know I don't have enough to fill it up. I'm curious to see exactly how many I have. I will count them once I have them all put away.

I also now have a stack of cd booklets about 6" tall. I used to put the booklet on the other side of the sleeve behind the corresponding cd. But then I started running out of room, so I started to take some of the older ones out. Today I took them all out. I rarely look at the booklets anymore, especially for my older cds. My new ones I look at for the lyrics, if they have them. Anyway, the cases must still be at my mom's house. I want to go get them so I can put them away. I don't like having booklets with no homes.

So, yeah. Why did I think this was a good idea? Guess I better get back to it. Once I figure out my organizational plan, that is.

UPDATE: (2.5 hours later)
I'm done! Whew! I can't believe I spent over 3 hours organizing my cds. LOL. I ended up doing them alphabetically, but I left a blank space every few pages so that I would only have to re-arrange small sections when I get new cds. We'll see how that works for me. I think it will have to be good enough, 'cause I'm not re-re-organizing any time soon. Heh.

Final cd count: 181
Number of embarrassing cds owned: I'm not telling.
Award for most cds owned goes to:
311, coming in with an impressive 13 cds!
Runner-up: Korn, with a not-too-shabby 9 cds.
Honorable mentions: Incubus (7) and Stone Temple Pilots (5).

New & Improved Kitchen

I just spent the last 2 hours putting together my new kitchen. This involved assembling the microwave cart (which was pretty easy, except I wasn't able to screw the top on. Oh well.) Then I took everything out of my kitchen and swept and mopped the floor. Then I took all the burners and thingys off the stove and scoured those. Then I washed all the pots and pans that needed washing. Then I wiped down all the counters, re-arranged stuff on the counters, and finally I brought back a few items that I had taken out to mop. The rest of it (boxes, old rusty folding chair, a bag of misc. bags that I never use) is getting thrown away. My kitchen has never been this clean! Well, maybe on the day I first moved in. LOL.

Here is the finished product. I'm very happy. It makes my kitchen seem so much bigger to have all of that free counter space. Yay!

My plans for the rest of the day include cleaning the bathroom, taking a shower, doing 2 loads of laundry, taking some of this junk down to my car and possibly running up to the store to get some hamburger buns and beer.

Phew. I'm exhaused already just typing all that out. Maybe I'll take a nap instead. heh.

Oh! And when I went to Target to buy the microwave cart, they had that laundry basket on wheels that I wanted but was supposedly only available online. And it was $5 cheaper. Woot!

It is so sad that things like that excite me. :)

Mood swings

I'm assuming it's the medicine. I don't know. I feel like these days I'm blaming every little odd thing that's wrong with me on the medicine. But hey, it's messing with my brain, right? It's supposed to. Supposed to make my brain happier. Or some shit. I don't know.

The other medicines made me numb. I didn't feel happy, but I didn't feel sad either. This one is totally different. I can go from sad to mad to happy in .02 seconds flat. And the emotions are so intense!
I cry at everything. I've always been a crier. I'm an emotional person. But it had been a long long time since I cried like I have these past 2 weeks. Horrible, gut wrenching sobs. Tears that take over my whole body and all I want to do is make them stop, but I can't.
And the anger. I'm not used to the anger. Last weekend I got so mad that I actually started throwing things and pounding on the walls. That is not me. I don't do stuff like that. Ever.
But the happiness. Ah, the happiness. Sometimes I feel happy. And good. And I think that maybe things are finally turning around for me. Sometimes I think the medicine is starting to work.
But it never lasts. The sadness always comes back.

I'm so sick of it all. I'm so tired. I want it to be over.

Regina Spektor

I bought her cd last week from Amazon.com. I had only heard one of her songs (Fidelity, which I lvoe!) but the cd was only $7 so I gave it a shot. And now? I am addicted. There is this one song that I cannot stop singing. I listen to it at least 3x a day. I'll probably be sick of it real soon. Heh.

Apres Moi
I must go on standing
You can't break that which isn't yours
I must go on standing
I'm not my own, It's not my choice

Be afraid of the lame, they'll inherit your legs
Be afraid of the old, they'll inherit your souls
Be afraid of the cold, they'll inherit your blood
Apres moi le deluge, after me comes the flood

Fevral dostat chernil i plakat
Pisat o fevral navzryd
Poka grohochushaya slyakot
Vesnoyu charnoyu gorit.

A few more listens, and I should be speaking fluent Russian. LOL!

The live performance video is pretty good, but I think you should all go hear the album version. And actually, you can listen to the entire cd on Regina's website. It has this cool little media player. If you want to skip to Apres Moi, it's track 7. Check it out. :)

Hi.

I'm drinking red wine. I never drink red wine. I'm not sure if I like it. It's kinda dry. 'Course that hasn't stopped me from drinking half the bottle. *snort*

I went to Big Lots tonight. I spent an insane amount of money, especially for Big Lots. But I'm happy with the things I got. I think. I can't remember everything I bought. It's all still down in the trunk of my car because I had other stuff to bring up to my apartment when I got home and I didn't feel like making 2 trips. The things I'm most excited about? Gee, guess. Give up? Yeah, it's make-up. I bought yet another palette of browns. A girl can never have too much brown eyeshadow. *grin* I also bought some Revlon Colorstay mascara. I'm anxious to try it because I've heard the Colorstay stuff is supposed to be good. I have been loyal to my Maybelline Full 'N Soft mascara for awhile now, but hey, the Revlon stuff was only $2. :)
Other purchases include: new mini-blinds for my bedroom, rubber floor mats for my car so my new ones don't get all yucky with snow gunk, a new broom and mop (as if I clean my kitchen. ha!), shampoo/conditioner, liquid hand soap, kleenex, oven mitts, hangers... ummm, that's all I can remember right now.

I still have more shopping to do. I really, really need a microwave cart for my kitchen. I have no counter space anymore. I've found a fairly cheap one at Target, but I'm not sure yet if it will fit my microwave or not. I also want to buy this Rubbermaid laundry basket with wheels on it.. much easier to tote down to the laundry room or to my mom's house. But, the thing is, Target doesn't appear to sell it in the stores. It says it's only available online, and I am not paying $12 for shipping when the thing only costs $20 to begin with. Pffft.

Wow. Fascinating post, isn't it?

Edited to add some pics of my kitchen. :) I remember saying on someone's blog (Swami's?) that I would post a pic showing how little counter space I had. So here they are.

First, a full view of my kitchen. Tiny, isn't it?

The next 2 pics are close-ups of the only usable counter space that I have. It's ridiculous. No wonder I never bother to cook anything. There's nowhere to work! Need.kitchen.cart.

Yeah, that's the Egg & Muffin toaster in the middle there. I know you're all so jellus. *grin*

Friday Ramblings

We interrupt this blog post to squeal about how we have the bestest Valentine EVAH! I just got a very special package delivered to me- full of candy, yummy smelling bath stuff, and jewelry!! I love it. And I love my Valentine. She's the best. *dreamy sigh*

We now return you to your regularly scheduled blog post...

I know not many people read my blog anymore, but I have been feeling like updating more lately. So...

-It's frickin' freezing in here, Mr. Bigglesworth. Brrrr! We discovered yesterday that there was a huge gas leak in our building here at work. Apparently, whoever installed the gas lines is a total moron, and everything is all screwed up. I heard the guy from the gas company say that it's like we've been sitting on a bomb. Nice. So, he shut the gas off and we've been without heat since yesterday afternoon. And it's *checks weather.com* 8 degrees here with a wind chill of -5. I'm sure last night the wind chill was in the -teens. I have a space heater under my desk, but it's not doing much to keep my fingers warm. And I can't type with my gloves on, so I'm pretty much SOL. I hope the guy gets here soon and gets everything fixed up.

-My sister found out the sex of the baby earlier this week. It's another boy. We're all kind of bummed. Tate was really hoping for a little sister, and Amy has always wanted a girl. But as long as he is healthy, I know we will be overjoyed when he gets here. :)

-For X-Mas, my mom bought me this:

She always feels the need to buy some weird kitchen appliance for me and my sister for X-Mas. Previous years have included a pizza stone and a cookie press. I was kind of excited about this breakfast sandwich maker though because I loooooove the Sausage and Egg McMuffin from McDonald's so much. I hadn't opened this until a couple weeks ago... and I find that I am fascinated by it. The taste is not as good as McDonald's, but for the ease and convenience, I am loving it. I pop in an English Muffin, break an egg, throw a pre-cooked sausage patty on, and in minutes I have my very own breakfast sandwich. I love it. Yay Mom!

-I'm on my 3rd attempt at a different anti-depressant now. None of the others have worked. I've only been on this one for a few days, so I'm not sure yet if this one will be any different. If this doesn't work, I don't know if I'll bother to try another one. All that I've gotten from this experience is frustration, side effects, and a dent in my wallet.

-My mom is re-doing her kitchen and my Uncle Dave is doing all the installation for her. It will be nice to have him up here for a few weekends. I love my Uncle Dave, he reminds me so much of my dad.

-On Kimmah's reccomendation, I ordered some free samples from Everyday Minerals. I think I might like them better than BMs, and they're cheaper. Yay!

-I think I have more stuff to write, but my mind is drawing a blank. Maybe my brain is freezing. Check back for additions later. Maybe once we get the heat fixed and my brain thaws, I'll have more to say.

Pics!

I haven't been doing very well the past few days, but I don't wanna talk about that crap. Instead, I bring you pictures from my night o' fun that I got from Roberta. Yay! :)

This is me and Tracy. I know I've talked about her a lot, but I don't think I've ever posted a pic of her. We've been best friends since 10th grade.

Here is a pic of Roberta (Tracy's sister) Amanda and Stacy (friends of Roberta) with our waiter Mikey. Isn't he cute? He was so nice. We lvoed Mikey.

This was the hostess of the evening. I can't remember her name right now. I'm drawing a blank. Huh. Anyway, this outfit eventually came off. She was the only girl to get naked. It was quite fascinating. I kept trying to see some *ahem* "stuff", but she hid it very well. LOL. Or maybe she had the surgery. Not sure. Heh.

This is Jamie Lynn wearing a very cool leopard outfit. They must've used some heavy duty glue!

Here is another one of the ladies, Akasha, with Jamie Lynn. Isn't it amazing how pretty they are??

Here is the drag king, Zak. He was awesome. :)

These next few pictures are of the girl who was leaving the club that night. In the last pic, she was lip-synching to some really pretty song about saying goodbye. You can see at the bottom of the pic the girl who was bawling her eyes out, who in turn made me cry! LOL.

I hope all this formatting turns out correctly. What a pain in the aras! (*waves to Boo*)
